Sales Executives

Advanced Detection Technology is seeking HUNTERS to serve as Regional Sales Executives.

Unlimited income potential. Multiple territories are available, and location is flexible. Travel within the territory is required.

The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for all sales activities in the assigned territory, from lead generation and conversion through close. Advanced Detection Technology has a marketing department that generates leads and provides sales support, and administrative, operations, and customer support teams who are committed to doing whatever it takes to make you successful.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Know how to create, manage, and commit to sales plans
  • Develop and manage regional and national channel partners
  • Offer proof of his or her ability to achieve quotas through a combination of direct selling and channel (dealer) management
  • Demonstrate technical and solution selling skills
  • Grab market share from competitors by offering clients detailed, accurate problem analysis, solutions proposals, and price quotes
  • Nurture long-term relationships with clients to secure future business
  • Manage and/or participate in regional and national sales and marketing events, such as association meetings and trade shows
  • Be comfortable travelling within the assigned territory up to 50%

Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales experience, preferably solution sales, meeting or exceeding a quota of at least $1M
  • 3+ years experience with Web browsers
  • 3+ years experience with the Web, Microsoft Office products, and sales automation systems (i.e., Salesforce.com)
  • The highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and discipline
  • Preference will be awarded to those candidates who have experience:
    • with physical security solutions (e.g., access control, perimeter security)
    • in high technology, specifically computing software AND hardware
    • selling to commercial and public entities, specifically: energy, industrial, manufacturing, law enforcement, military, correctional, commercial and high-end residential property management, and freight transportation.
