Advanced Detection Technology’s FastPlate™ License Plate Recognition System captures and processes - manually or automatically - license plate information. FastPlate™ uses a surveillance method that identifies vehicles by capturing license plate images and “reads” them using optical character recognition software.  Since every vehicle carries a unique license plate, no external cards, tags, or transmitters are needed in order for a vehicle to be recognizable.

FastPlate™ can be used for a variety of applications including alleviating traffic bottlenecks, improving security personnels' efficiency, identifying stolen vehicles, automating access gates, or recognizing important parties upon arrival, all using license plate recognition software.
